A heartwarming moment unfolded when a compassionate barber decided to give a free haircut to a dishevelled homeless man who happened to pass by his shop. This kind act quickly garnered praise on social media, highlighting the barber’s commitment to helping his community while honing his skills.
Bank, the owner of a barbershop, yesterday, May 26, shared with Khaosod Online the events that led to this uplifting moment. As Bank and his assistants were putting up a sign in front of their shop, they noticed an older homeless man walking by. The man was in a shabby condition, carrying a single bag. After a brief discussion, Bank and his team decided to offer him a free haircut.
Mos, one of the barbers, approached the man and asked, Would you like a haircut? The man responded that I don’t have any money. Mos reassured him by saying, it’s free. The man agreed and entered the shop. After the haircut, the man expressed his gratitude and left the shop looking transformed.
Bank further explained that his barbershop, named Nong Nab Tang, typically offers barber training. The shop featured in the video is named Weary Barber, and it’s used for training his students. Regularly, Bank and his students volunteer to give free haircuts to villagers, both as a way to practice their skills and to help those in need.
“I want to thank everyone who has praised our actions. It means a lot to me and my students.”
This incident not only highlights the barber’s generosity but also underscores the importance of community service. By providing free haircuts to those in need, Bank and his team are making a tangible difference in their community while also improving their craft.
The video, posted on TikTok under the account Nong Nab Tang Barbershop, quickly went viral, with many viewers applauding the barbers for their kindness and community spirit. Comments flooded in, praising the team for their selfless act and the positive impact they are making, reported Khaosod.
